Predictions of Nibiru
Predictions of Nibiru were first made by a writer named Zecharia Sitchin. Sitchin made claims
that there was an undiscovered planet beyond the planet Neptune called Nibiru. His study
and writings on the origin of the human race, particularly the ancient Sumerians, claim that a
group of extra-terrestrial beings, known as the Anunnaki, were from this strange, undiscovered
planet. His work was based on ancient Sumerian mythology, which he claimed supported his
theories. Sitchins` predictions of Nibiru were rejected by modern scientists and astronomers,
saying that he misread or mistranslated ancient Sumerian texts. Rejections and scoffing aside,
his world-wide book sales speak volumes, as they have reached millions and been printed in
over 25 languages.
The actual predictions of Nibiru were that it was on a collision course with planet Earth. Also
known as Planet X by many, Nibiru is said to have an elongated rotation around our solar
system. It supposedly passes by Earth every 3600 years. These ideas were put forth in 1995 by
a woman named Nancy Lieder. Lieder claims that she was chosen by a group of extra-terrestrial
beings to warn the people of this planet about the impending doom that could soon manifest.
The date she gave was May 27 of 2003, in which Earth would be forced into a pole shift, causing
most of its people to be destroyed. She later stated that this date was a false date, given to
confuse the powers that be.
Lieder claims that Sitchin`s planet Nibiru and her own Planet X are one and the same. Sitchin,
before his death in 2010, denied these claims stating that his work has nothing to do with a
Planet X or Nancy Lieder. The fact remains that both the predictions of Nibiru and the Planet X
theory are very similar. This, however, could be merely a coincidence. Although Sitchins` works
and predictions of Nibiru have been criticized, he has more credibility than Lieder through
his book sales alone. Many believe that Lieder was merely a Zecharia Sitchin fanatic who was
border lining total insanity, and trying to become famous on the work of another person. This
insanity can be seen in the statements she made a week prior to the 2003 apocalypse date,
when she went on the air and told everyone to put their dogs to sleep.
The question remains: Are the predictions of Nibiru fact or fiction? The only real way to answer
this is to read the books Sitchin wrote and decide for yourselves what to believe.Best Survive 2012 Guide Click Here
