Since childhood, people are terrified of death. Throughout most of this life, many people are petrified of watching their loved ones die and instead want to live long,, happy lives in which they ultimatelly fulfill the American Dream. A world upheaval is set to occur in the coming year and it will most certainly spell doom and gloom for those caught unprepared through their own ignorance.

It has been predicted by a vast plethora of different sources that Dec 21 2012 will indeed mark the end of the world. No matter where you look for the predictions, you're bound to find some kind of 2012 prophecy. The ancient Mayans, the Native Americans -- even Nostradamus himelf! Nostradamus, of course, also predicted the attacks on September the 11th as well as the horrible effects of Hurricane Katrina. Both quite accurately. Almost creepily so...
He also predicted that the end of the modern world would come about in 2012. Not only has he predicted it, but again, so have the Mayans. So haven't the numerous other ancient tribes who were so adept at reading the stars and skies for climate change and geographical issues. The early Mayan civilization famously predicted all of this on their calendar, stating that the end of the 4th world would be on this day.
Modern scientific studies on the magnetic poles within the earth -- in addition to numerous other natural changes happening globally -- have affirmed that there have been huge changes and damage to the Earth`s overall balance and core. On this day, our solar system will pass through the Milky Way and further disrupt our delicate balance, with this completely and permanently throwing off the solar system and causing horrific and catastrophic natural disasters (such as earthquakes, solar flares and volcanic eruptions -- among many other things).
Thankfully, there will be some that manage to find the secret knowledge and will be able to survive Dec 21 2012. These people will find that afterwards, their lives have changed.
